7×7 magazine, which covers the San Francisco lifestyle, chose Clubbing as one of only 10 images for their “Bring on the Night” photo competition. The finalists’ images were printed in this month’s issue.
A number of my night images have been chosen for the Pro Arts is located in Oakland, California. This is a great way for you to see my prints in person and evaluate how they would look in your home. There’s work there by several other artists, too. Follow the link above for directions and hours.
I’m very pleased that my night image Double Garage was chosen by jurors from among many entries to be one of the 20 in EP Designworks’ online exhibition this month.
I’m excited to again participate in Pro Arts’ East Bay Open Studios, which takes place the first two weekends in June and involves up to 500 East Bay artists. Please stop by to see my work in person, much bigger and in more detail than you can on your screen.
This time, I’ll be exhibiting at the south end of the historic Sawtooth Building in Berkeley, at 933 Parker St. (at Eighth St.). My work will be at Studio Rasa, a beautiful yoga studio and community arts space.
This online Nocturnes exhibition reveals some of the influences of many of us Bay Area night photographers. One of my photos is featured on the intro page.
